Aviation Reproduction Inc. has delivered a Boeing 767 Door Trainer to WestJet's training center in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The newest addition to WestJet's training facility, this L1 and OWE door trainer adds a number of features to help create a realistic training environment to simulate specific scenarios, as well as train students for regular procedures.

767 Calgary Door Trainer

Specific features include:

  • Fully operational 767 L1 Exit (manual and motorized), and 767 Over-Wing Exits

  • Door malfunctions (jamming, hard to open, power assist failure, indicator failure)

  • Fully functional emergency exit lights and cabin lights (dimmable)

  • Independent slide deployment sound effects (aural cue) for both exits, including multiple failure scenarios

  • Simulated fire and water obstructions (visual cues) on exit windows

  • Fully functional flight attendant jumpseats

  • Drop-down oxygen masks at passenger PSU's and Fwd flight attendant station

  • Fwd FA handset with PA functionality
